Introduction
Tonsillitis or the tonsil is the two lymph nodes which is located on the each side of the throat. They have function like defending mechanism which prevents the body from getting any infection. Hence when it get infected this make the condition of tonsillitis.

This tonsillitis is occurring at any stage of ages, like it is common childhood illness. The normal symptoms which shown for this are the throat, swollen, tonsil and fever. This kind of condition is also known with name of contagious that cause with many viruses and bacteria. In simple words streptococcal bacteria cause the strep throat and the tonsillitis create with this lead to the serious complication if you left it untreated.
Major Symptoms of Tonsillitis
There are three major types of tonsillitis name as follow
- Acute
- Chronic
- Recurrent
These three types of tonsillitis give us following possible symptoms that alert us for getting treatment.
- Very sore throat
- Scratchy sound

Types of Tonsillitis
- Acute Tonsillitis: this is incredibly common in the children, like every child will probably get this at least at once. If you see the symptoms last ten days then its mean your child has acute tonsillitis.
- Chronic Tonsillitis: the symptoms of chronic tonsillitis is longer than that of acute, hence you may experience long lasting sore throat. It may also cause the tonsil stone; the debris can harden into small stones.
- Recurrent Tonsillitis: this tonsil is defined as the sore throat feeling at least seven times in one year, five times in two years and so on.
