Introduction

Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), a hole in the heart, is a common type of defect which existing at birth. This hole is occurs in the wall that separate the hearts lower chamber. This thing allows the blood about to flow from left to the right side. Thus small VSD defect may not create any problem however medium or large VSD need surgical repair and full treatment.

Symptoms for VSD

The sign for the VSD normally appear during the very first days or the month of a child’s life. In baby the symptoms for the VSD include:

  • Poor eating
  • Fast breathing
  • Easy tiring

One more thing to tell about the symptoms is that, doctor may not notice signs of VSD if the defect is small. Symptoms are not being appeared due to small size or hole. As this kind of diseases dependable on the size, whole as well as on other associated heart defect.
